[Military commission certificate for James White, 1752 September 28].

Commission as ensign of the first foot company in Weymouth under the command of Alexander Nash in the 3rd regiment of militia within Suffolk County. Document is signed by Secretary Josiah Willard and Lieutenant-Governor Spencer Phips. Verso has a note dated January 2 1753 by Benjamin Lincoln and William Hunt that White took the oath and declaration.
